My cousin recently invited us for dinner and she gave me this amazing healthy and tasty recipe of Dalia. I made it last night & my husband loved it. He didn’t realise it was Dalia at all and the taste of garlic was superb.
INGREDIENTS
- Oil – 2 tablespoon
- Jeera

Ginger, chilly, lasun paste

Salt as per taste

Green peas, carrot, capsicum, green chillies – 1 cup

Dalia – 1/2 cup

Chana daal, moong daal, toor daal – 1/2 cup

Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon

Red chilli powder – 2 tablespoon

Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon

Sugar – 1 teaspoon

Green fresh garlic – 1/2 cup
INSTRUCTIONS

Soak Dalia and daal in water for 1/2 day

Add oil in the cooker, add oil and once the oil is hot enough add Jeera and ginger-garlic-chilly paste followed by all veggies.

Now add all the spices, salt and sugar.

Mix well and add the Dalia and daal and mix well.

Add 4 water and cover the cooker.

Cook for 4 whisels and turn of the gas.

Serve it with buttermilk and garnish with fresh garlic.
